Hot water from coffee machine tastes milky

Cause:

If your hot water tastes a little milky, or even tastes like coffee, it could be because there is milk or coffee residue in the beverage outlet.

Solution:

First, check that the milk tube has been removed from the milk container, as this can lead to your hot water turning milky. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, then clean the beverage outlet to remove any coffee or milk residue that has collected.

We also recommend regularly cleaning and descaling your coffee machine for best results. Our guides below will help you learn more about looking after your coffee machine.
