Tumble dryer hot but not drying
If you notice that your tumble dryer is getting hot, but the laundry isn't being dried, don't panic. Usually this is the result of blockage that can be resolved quickly. Follow the steps below to get your appliance back and running in no time.
Check the vent hose
If the ventilation hose is clogged, it will trap hot air inside the dryer’s drum and prevent it from properly drying your clothes. Locate the vent hose and clean out any lint and excess fluff which may be causing the blockage. Be sure to double check that there are no foreign objects within the vent hose.
Before moving on, ensure that the ventilation hose is not kinked or damaged.
