| THINGS TO CONSIDER |
Space for open doors
Many of our fridge freezers open up to 90° when installed next to a wall, this allows for great access to your fridge contents. Should you wish to open the door wider than 90° or install a model with protruding handles you should leave additional room to the right and left of the appliance.
Space for ventilation
Depending on your appliance you may need different amounts of ventilation space. For models that have the condenser coils at the back, enough space must be available for air to circulate in accordance with it's user manual. Alternatively choose a PerfectFit model for a perfectly flush fit.
Make plug sockets and water taps accessible
Do not place electrical plug sockets or water taps behind the appliance, they should always be accessible without having to remove your appliance from its housing. If they can't be moved, please include it in your depth measurments.
Consult an expert for installation
Installing a cooling appliance can be more complex than it seems. You should consult an expert to ensure you have the optimum door space, surrounding kitchen furniture, ventilation and plumbing before you install.
