Induction Hobs: the quicker and safer option

How does an induction hob work?Beneath the hob, induction coils made from copper wire create a magnetic field as electricity is passed through them. If a pan with a magnetised base is placed on the hob, the magnetic field causes it to heat up directly. The hob will remain cool with only some residual heat from the pans, meaning induction hobs are a lot safer.

What is the difference between gas and electric? All Bosch hobs offer a glass ceramic cooking surface which are stylish and easy to clean. Induction hobs are the most energy-efficient choice that delivers instant heat. Electric ceramic hobs are effortless to use and compatible with all kinds of pots and pans. Gas hobs are favoured by professional and hobby chefs as you are able to cook powerfully and fast, instantly responding to every heat adjustment you make.
