What temperature should a freezer be?

A precisely set fridge freezer temperature is vital for the proper functioning of your appliance, so please ensure that it is set correctly. Below, you will learn more about the climate class your appliance is designed to operate in and what the recommended temperatures are for each section.

The temperature in the freezer compartment can be set from -16 °C to -24 °C. The recommended freezer temperature is -18 °C or 0 °F.

When installing the appliance you should observe ambient temperature and ventilation. To do this, check the climate class found on the rating plate, or inside your appliance's instruction manual. The climate class indicates within which ambient temperatures the appliance can be operated in.
