Cleaning a glass hob
Cleaning your Bosch glass (induction or ceramic) hob shouldn’t be difficult as long as you use the right cleaning agents. Whether you’re trying to remove burnt-on food from your induction or electric hob, our top tips will help you safely restore its showroom shine in a matter of minutes.
Step by step guide
1. Before starting to clean any spillage, make sure that the hob is switched off and that it is cool.
2. Take care not to scratch the hob surface by using only non-abrasive cleaning agents.
3. Clean the hob initially with washing up liquid and a soft sponge.
4. To remove burnt-on deposits and tough dirt spots, use the Glass Scraper provided in the Ceramic Hob Maintenance Pack.
5. Wet clean the hob with a soft, clean sponge.
6. Apply a small quantity of the Hob Cleaner and wipe clean with a lint-free cloth, as provided in the product pack, for a shiny finish.
