Simply insert the TASSIMO drink capsule and start preparing your drink using One Touch operation. Using unique TASSIMO INTELLIBREW[TM] technology, preparing the perfect drink has never been easier. Each TASSIMO pod has a barcode. Your TASSIMO machine reads the barcode using the INTELLIBREW[TM] system and automatically adjusts the brewing time, temperature and duration for that drink. So, whether you choose a latte, cappuccino or espresso (or any of the over 50 drinks available), it will be prepared to perfection.

How do I set up my new TASSIMO FINESSE?
Plug in your TASSIMO FINESSE machine and push the power button. Place the yellow Service Disc, stored in your machine, in the brew head. Place a container underneath the coffee outlet (at least 250ml / 9fl. oz). Fill the water tank with fresh water and push the start button. After a short cleaning cycle is finished, your TASSIMO FINESSE is ready to go!
How do I clean my TASSIMO FINESSE?
To enjoy the best quality coffees and teas, we recommend cleaning your TASSIMO FINESSE coffee machine regularly.
Simply follow the guidance given in the booklet in the Service T DISC compartment at the side of your brewer: Wipe your machine off with a soft cloth. Clean the removable parts by hand or in the dish washer as indicated. Run the cleaning cycle with the Service T DISC regularly.

How do I descale my TASSIMO FINESSE?
Ensure a long service life for your TASSIMO machine and optimum taste! Descale your TASSIMO FINESSE when the red descaling alert lights up. Use the automatic decalcification programme and the specially developed TASSIMO descaling tablets to descale your machine effectively. Watch the video for a detailed tutorial!
How does IntensityBoost work?
Coffee flavour is the result of many factors, among them the set-up of brewing parameters. TASSIMO’s barcode technology INTELLIBREW TM automatically recognizes the drink type and applies a pre-defined set of brewing parameters to each drink type to ensure a well-balanced aroma. By adjusting some of these parameters, the IntensityBoost feature of TASSIMO FINESSE is able to extract an even more intense coffee aroma.
How do I use TASSIMO & TASSIMO PODS?
TASSIMO's specific pods are called T DISCs. Other pods will not fit into your TASSIMO coffee maker. Make sure the power is on and the water tank is full. Choose a T DISC and load it into the machine’s disc compartment, with the barcode facing down. Firmly close the lid and make sure it’s shut. Position a cup on the cup stand and push the start button. A delicious drink will be ready in seconds!
