Top 6: Simple solutions for unexpected results

Dishcare

Our dishwashers go through 485 rigorous quality checks before leaving our factory. So we can guarantee you quality that you can rely on. Even if they are tested this much, sometimes your dishwasher unfortunately may not achieve the results you expect. Don’t worry, because most of the time the reason is simple to identify and easy to solve. Have a look at our tips on what you can do to achieve the very best results for your dishwasher now.

Starch spots on cutlery

Tips for perfectly clean results.

When you detect white starch deposits on your crockery, dishes or cutlery, make sure that your dishwasher is loaded correctly and not overstacked. Check if the spray arms can spin and that they are not blocked. Also check if the outlet nozzles are clogged with food residue such as lemon seeds. The spray arms can be easily cleaned under the tap using a cocktail stick. Last but not least, always choose the right program regarding your load in the particular wash-cycle.

Lime scale marks on blue dish plate

Tips for lime scale marks.

Have you detected lime scale marks on your dishes and plates? Most likely, the salt levels aren’t topped off and/or the water hardness has not been correctly set. Try out our test strips and evaluate the correct water hardness and adjust the settings accordingly.

Water droplets left on different glasses

Tips for glassware.

If there are water droplets left on your glasses, ensure rinse aid levels are topped off and all items are stacked so water can run off freely. When there are streaks and smears on your delicate glasses, check if detergent dosage is correct and glassware is stacked so water can run off properly. Sometimes, the dosage of rinse aid is too high when smears appear. If that is the case, set the amount of rinse aid dispensed every wash cycle according to the manual.

Wet bowl dishes

Tips for dry items.

Are some items not as dry as they should be? Ensure rinse aid levels are topped off and all items are stacked so water can run freely off them. If your plastic is not dry, use the extra dry function if your model has it.

Different pieces of crockery

Tips on crockery.

Have you experienced yellow/brown residues on your crockery? Check if your dosage is correct, as this residue forms when insufficient detergent is used. If white milky residues appear on your crockery, refill water softener and check if your water hardness has been correctly set. In case of fading patterns, check if your crockery is dishwasher safe.

Different types styles and colours of kitchenware

Tips on hygienic results.

For perfect hygienic results, the “Hygiene-Plus” can be selected as an additional option. Through the increased rinsing temperature, it promotes better hygiene. This is ideal if your household has higher hygiene requirements because of small children or allergy sufferers.
