  • SelfCleaning Condenser
SelfCleaning Condenser The maintenance-free, SelfCleaning Condenser is easy to use and spares you tedious cleaning. Thanks to this innovation, the condenser is cleaned automatically, up to four times during the drying process. Bosch’s heatpump dryers dry particularly economically for the life of the appliance, with the dryer operating at full capacity.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Biggest waste of money ever madeTumble dryer bought in Dec still trail and error when in use. Can anyone advise on which program to use when you just need to finish drying cloth from cloths line. I feel that this is the biggest waste of money I have ever made.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Extremely frustrating MachineWe bought this dryer in John Lewis as the model we wanted was not in stock. This was only £10 dearer and was A++ as opposed to A+ on the one we actually went in to the store for so we decided that the extra £10 would be worth it. I wish we had read the reviews before committing ourselves as after one week we find this machine most frustrating. What I find even more frustrating than the machine itself are the comments from Bosch below the negative reviews. Cupboard Dry should mean dry enough to put in a cupboard. If it means 'Airing' Cupboard dry then that it what it should be labelled as. My cupboard is under the bed. To me, Cupboard Dry means dry. I want to take DRY things from the dryer to put in the cupboard. I don't have an airing cupboard - nor do I want clothes airers taking up space. This is the very reason we bought a condensing dryer. One comment says to do a 'Timed Dry' as this disables the moisture sensors. I would (and I suspect most of the others who have posted negative reviews) like clear instructions on how to do a 'Timed Dry' as the rather nifty pictogram instruction cards singularly fail to mention how to do it. Do I have to return to the machine every 30 minutes to restart the program? The instructions for 'Fine Adjustment of The Drying Result' are pointless as they do not indicate what those levels are. L:00 or L:03? They are different according to the display - but which way? Is 00 dryer than 03? The only way to find out is to run both and see. User interfaces should be obvious - I should not have to guess ! Finally, Had we realised that this dryer did not auto-reverse we would not have bought it. We had assumed that as auto-reverse had been introduced tens of years ago that all dryers had it. The comment to "fold things neatly and put them in the bottom of the drum" is frankly an insult in this day and age. Apart from the low noise level and power consumption this machine is inferior to the vented dryer we have disposed of after 15 years. We are going to give this machine a few more days and if we cannot get DRY bedding out of it then We will ask JLP for our money back and we will buy an alternative brand that actually produces 'Cupboard Dry'.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Absolute GarbageSimply appalling. Scrapped this week at less than 4 years old. This despite 3 x major part replacements at 15 & 18 months and then a major rebuild at 26 months. Laughably the Bosch engineer stated at the last visit that all our troubles were now over as he had more or less replaced all the troublesome heat pump parts. Although he did say it is badly designed. So no surprises when it has just failed with exactly the same problem as the previous 3 failures. The sensor keeps saying the water container is full and the filter needs cleaning, neither of which need attention. Rubbish considering the price of these things and I am deeply regretting letting my kitchen fitter put Bosch appliances in our new kitchen. Not recommended.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from One way timble☹️I am trying to love this machine, but it is very difficult. I had a Hoover prior to this, condenser as well. Had it 8 years, fantastic. Never ironed ever, because we got on so well. Well, it eventually gave in - old age. Now, my new Bosch self Cleansing dryer never gets warmer, hot never has. But, only tumbles one way, scrunched clothes always. Back doing the ironing. All the buttons on the machine, well you cannot select specific ones you want it to do. Never recommend this. So sorry I got this.
