If you have a Bosch iron or steam station you can buy a Fabric Protection soleplate. It ensures that sensitive fabrics such as black trousers are not damaged and prevents white streaks forming.

The Fabric Protection Soleplate simply clips onto the base of the iron and can be easily removed after use.
