- Available for large domestic appliances only. Not available for small appliances including kettles, toasters, coffee machines, irons, steam stations, vacuum cleaners and food preparation appliances.

- Repairs under the terms of the warranty are undertaken by Bosch engineers*

- Extends your manufacturer’s warranty terms from two to five years in total.

What we need before you call

In order to extend your warranty, we need the E-Nr number (full model number) and the FD number (production code) and serial number of your Bosch appliance. These details can be found on the rating plate of your appliance and we can help you locate the rating plate and the numbers we need.

What is the Bosch Extended Warranty?

Bosch will offer to rectify defects affecting the appliance which are clearly attributable to material and/or manufacturing faults, provided they are reported immediately after being identified, for a total of five years.

Who provides the Bosch Extended Warranty?

This warranty is provided by BSH Home Appliances Limited, trading as Bosch. Our main trading address is Grand Union House, Old Wolverton Road, Wolverton, Milton Keynes, MK12 5PT.

How may I buy the Bosch Extended Warranty?

Step 1 – Please register your appliance(s) with Bosch, either online or by calling us with the purchase date, model number, FD and ENR number and your personal details.

This will also activate your Bosch 2 year Free Standard Warranty.

Step 2 – You then have the option to purchase Bosch Extended Warranty for an extra 3 years for your appliance direct from Bosch Home Appliances Limited.

Step 3 – Retain the Extended Warranty Certificate and receipt(s) for both the appliance(s) and Extended Warranties(s) to use the Bosch Standard or Extended Warranty.

You will need to register your product to take up the extended warranty offering which is only available in the first 28 days after purchase but doesn’t need to be bought at the same time as the appliance(s).

Where do I find my FD and ENR number?

FD & ENR numbers which can be located on the ID plate/sticker – you can also find this online http://www.bosch-home.co.uk/customerservice/identify-your-appliance.html where an online video tutorial is also available.

What does it cost and how can I pay?

The price for the 3 year Bosch Extended Warranty is £99 per appliance payable by Debit or Credit card as a one off payment.

Which appliances can I buy it for?

Bosch appliances such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, washer dryers, ovens, hobs, fridges and fridge freezers.

Please contact us if you would like us to confirm if your appliance qualifies for the Bosch Extended Warranty on *0344 892 8979 press option 5.

Please note small appliances (such as kettles, Tassimo, mixers) and in built coffee machines are excluded from this Extended warranty.

What happens if I change my mind?

Within 45 days of purchasing the Bosch Extended Warranty we will cancel it and provide a full refund to you.

Your purchase is protected by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which means that if you change your mind within 45 days of taking out the extended warranty provided there have been no claims under the Extended Warranty we will refund any monies paid in full.

You may also cancel the Extended Warranty after the 45 day period and we will provide a pro rata refund of the price for the unexpired period of the Extended Warranty at any time during the warranty.

If you have made a claim but still wish to cancel the Extended Warranty we will at our discretion only refund part of the payment made.

Do I have to buy the Bosch Extended Warranty?

Bosch home appliances are renowned for their quality and are supplied with a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty which provides you with the peace of mind that, if needed, a Bosch engineer will visit your home to help.*

Purchasing the Bosch Extended Warranty is completely optional.

You still have the original free Standard 2 year Bosch Warranty in place and you can purchase elsewhere.

How long do I have to purchase the Bosch Extended Warranty?

You are not required to purchase the Bosch Extended Warranty at the same time as the appliance to which it relates but the Bosch Extended Warranty needs be purchased within 28 days of your purchase of the relevant appliance.

There are other providers that you can purchase extended warranties and plans from at any point. Further details are given in the Where can I obtain more information before I purchase the Bosch Extended Warranty? section.

What information will I need to use the Bosch Extended Warranty?

The proof of purchase for the appliance will be needed whether you are making a claim in either the two year Standard manufacturer's warranty or for the Extended Warranty purchased.

You will receive a confirmation letter or email (as defined by you) which will confirm the Bosch Extended Warranty together with a receipt and unique Certificate number for the Bosch Extended Warranty which will be needed along with the proof of purchase for the appliance(s) as detailed above.

Failure to provide the date of purchase and certificate in the event of a claim may invalidate the extended warranty.
