The Bosch extended warranty is an option to extend the standard two year manufacturer's warranty on your Bosch appliance to a total of five years, during which time Bosch will repair appliance defects which are clearly attributable to manufacturing and/or material faults, provided they are reported immediately after being identified.
The Bosch extended warranty is provided by BSH Home Appliances Limited, trading as Bosch. Our main trading address is Grand Union House, Old Wolverton Road, Wolverton, Milton Keynes, MK12 5PT.
You have the option to purchase extended warranty for your Bosch appliance either online or by calling 0344 892 8979 (option 5). You will then need to retain the extended warranty certificate we will send to you, and the purchase receipt for your appliance, to use this extended warranty for a repair.
You will need to register your appliance to take up the extended warranty, which is only available in the first 28 days after purchase, but it doesn't need to be bought on the same day as the appliance.
E-Nr and FD numbers can be located on the rating plate/sticker attached to your appliance, which can usually be found around the door area. If you need assistance finding these numbers you can use our rating plate finder online.
The costs for extended warranty per appliance category are as follows (all prices are inclusive of VAT):
- Washing (including washer dryers): £89
- Dishwashing: £89
- Drying: £80
- Cooling: £80
- Cooking: £80
- Ventilation: £80
The Bosch extended warranty is payable by debit or credit card as a one off payment.
The Bosch extended warranty is available for large domestic appliances only, such as dishwashers, washing machines, tumble dryers, washer dryers, ovens, hobs, fridges and fridge freezers. It is not available for small appliances such as kettles, toasters, coffee machines, irons, steam stations, vacuum cleaners and food preparation appliances.

Within 45 days of purchasing the Bosch extended warranty we will cancel it and provide a full refund for you. Your purchase is protected by The Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, which means that if you change your mind within 45 days of taking out the extended warranty, provided there have been no claims under this extended warranty, we will refund any money paid in full.
You may also cancel the extended warranty after the 45 day period and we will provide a pro rata refund of the price for the unexpired period of the extended warranty at any time during the warranty. If you have made a claim but still wish to cancel the extended warranty, we will at our discretion only refund part of the payment made.

Purchasing the Bosch extended warranty is completely optional. Bosch appliances are renowned for their quality and are supplied with a two year manufacturer's warranty as standard which provides you with the peace of mind that, if needed, a Bosch engineer will visit your home to repair your appliance.
You are not required to purchase the Bosch extended warranty on the same day as the appliance to which it relates, but the Bosch extended warranty needs to be purchased within 28 days of your relevant appliance's purchase date.
There are other providers that you can purchase extended warranties and plans from at any point.

You will receive a confirmation letter or email which will confirm the Bosch extended warranty together with a receipt and unique certificate number for the Bosch extended warranty which will be needed along with the proof of purchase for the appliances(s) as detailed above.
Failure to provide the date of purchase and certificate in the event of a claim may invalidate the Bosch extended warranty.
